This would be our plan. In weeks to come, we have decided to only briefly work on GRACE, as the common test is coming in just a few weeks. As this is an important year, we've decided to put GRACE on hold.
After doing this planning, we will stop GRACE for a week or two, by then the common test would be starting. After the common test, we will go ahead with collecting old textbooks via advertisements and asking from relatives and friends.
The advertisements will be posted on pillars or fences near the perceived 'hot spots' around the school, mainly the Multi Purpose Court, Basketball Court, Toilets, and pillars around the classrooms. This way, we believe that people would read the notice and donate books.
Next, whilst getting the books is already having 'one hand on the cup', the next step is how to attract people to buy it. As putting up banners around Singapore is illegal(I think, isn't it?), we will give out flyers at various HDB estates, and maybe people who would like to save money would purchase our books, which will be priced at a relatively cheaper price than at bookstores or the school bookshop.
Next, whilst this is all going on, an email will be provided in the advertisements and the flyers for people to contact us to meet up for payment and collection of the books. When sales reach a peak, the money received will be used to cover our costs for the flyers, advertisements, the transportation fares and such.
Then, we will donate the proceeds will be donated to a legit charity in Singapore, to help other people. The main purpose of this project is to help the sick and the elderly, and mainly for charity.
